Hi, I'm Josephine Wiedenhaefer — but most people call me Josey. I started Jaz-Ski Consulting Services after more than a decade of working in franchise law, civil litigation, and compliance, in roles ranging from courthouse clerk to Compliance Manager at a national franchise brand. Along the way, I earned a Paralegal Certificate and a Master's degree in Conflict Analysis & Dispute Resolution — but what I've valued most is the chance to be the person people turn to when they need something done right, explained clearly, and handled with care.

I started this firm because I kept seeing the same gap: law firms and franchisors needing reliable, experienced support without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire, and entrepreneurs needing someone to walk them through the paperwork of starting a business without the intimidation of legal jargon. Having worked both inside law firms and inside a franchise system, I bring a perspective that's hard to find in one person — and I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving and people side of this work as much as the legal side.

Outside of the office, I'm just as much a details person — someone who believes good communication and follow-through go a long way, whether you're a law firm needing a tight deadline met or a first-time founder unsure where to even start.
